The Day

We will depart the town of Jackson close to sunrise to take advantage of the early morning light to observe wildlife during one of their more active times of the day. We'll seek out species like moose, elk, bison, black and grizzly bears, and bald eagles, to name a few. Our route will head north into Yellowstone National Park, where we will witness the impressive power of an Old Faithful eruption before embarking on the day's hikes. We'll enjoy a picnic lunch with a scenic view before continuing our exploration of the park on foot, visiting more hidden thermal features, searching for wildlife, and gaining an in-depth understanding of what makes Yellowstone unique. This tour does not drive the full Lower Loop of Yellowstone National Park, but rather explores the southwest region of the park. On the journey back to Jackson, we will cater the conversation to your interests and our expertise, whether that be animal behavior, animal adaptations, geology, or cultural history of the area.
