Nick was born and raised in the rural parts of Ohio, where he fell in love with exploring the outdoors. He attended the University of Akron, earning a Bachelor of Science in Biology. During this time, he developed a passion for birds and how nature is all connected. On his way home from researching the spotted owl in coastal Oregon, he visited the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem. It was a short visit but he knew he wanted to come back.
The following summer, he started working as a guide and quickly grew a passion for the mammals, mountains, and everything else the ecosystem has to offer. Nick loves being able to show guests the environment and help them learn about the outdoors. There is nothing better than seeing the priceless reactions when guests see their first bear or the mountain peaks towering over them. He truly believes there is so much we can all learn from experiencing what humans have become so distant from – the natural world around us. During his free time, he can be found birding, photographing wildlife, and trail running.
Nick is a University of Wyoming certified Outdoor Guide.
