Dollars For Conservation
Through our Dollars for Conservation program which started on May 1, 2008, EcoTour Adventures has donated $11,200 to local and national based non-profits. We feel strongly about giving to organizations that give their efforts to the conservation and preservation of the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem. It is because the work these organizations and others do that we get to enjoy, learn about, and get connected to one of the most intact ecosystems in North America. Take a wildlife and park tour with us to experience your natural world, and at the same time contribute to the world's well being.
This program is designed to promote conservation and preservation within the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem, by contributing to local non-profits. Here is how it works.
You, the guest, will get directly involved in the conservation of the place that you are learning so much about. During your tour you will be introduced to two local nonprofits that contribute to the well being and conservation of The Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem. You will choose the nonprofit organization of the three described that has a mission that you relate strongly to and agree with, and Ecotour Adventures will donate 2.5% of your total trip cost to their cause on your behalf and you will be gifted an annual membership to that organization. You can help this area keep its great qualities that you the visitor came here to enjoy, while making memories by touring with Ecotour Adventures. Thanks
Local Non-profits that Eco-Tour Adventures feel worthy of contributions are:
The Conservation Alliance
The Jackson Hole Conservation Alliance is dedicated to responsible land stewardship in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, to ensure that human activities are in harmony with the area’s irreplaceable wildlife, scenic and other natural resources.
Beringia South
The mission of Craighead Beringia South is to contribute new knowledge toward improving the management and conservation of our natural environment by pursuing innovative, long-term field investigations on key ecosystem components upon which all life depends.
